Eaglemont Village launches 2019 Artisan Series!

Eaglemont Village is proud to announce Artisan Saturday’s will be returning to the village with an all-new series in 2019.

Raising funds for the Olivia Newton-John Wellness Centre and supported by the Banyule Council, Heidelberg Historical Society and Neighbourhood Watch, the series will feature over 20 unique market stalls in support of small and local businesses.

Commencing in April, there will be something for all ages. For the children, there are competitions to participate in with the opportunity to win some great prizes! You can have your face painted for free or get a temporary tattoo. There’s also local music to listen to, a sausage sizzle and so much more!

For the adults, enjoy local entertainment while savouring gourmet food and wine. Pursue and purchase from our handpicked market stalls, snap up sensational shopper specials and take in the relaxed and friendly atmosphere of our historic Village has to offer.

Artisan Saturday’s will take place from 9am-1pm in the Eaglemont Shopping Village, Silverdale Road, Eaglemont 3084 on the following dates:

  • Saturday 27 April 2019
  • Saturday 22 June 2019
  • Saturday 28 September 2019
  • Saturday 26 October 2019
  • Saturday 23 November 2019 (celebrating Christmas)

Join us again at the Eaglemont Village Artisan Saturdays commencing in April and concluding in November 2017. All the fun is happening from 9am -1pm at Eaglemont Shopping Village, Silverdale Road, Eaglemont 3084.

Saturday’s in the village wouldn’t be the same without Eaglemont Meats charity BBQ.
Let me share a testimonial from expert sausage flipper Ian also a local resident:

‘Recently I was looking at a photograph of the first Eaglemont Traders Fair , the photo depicted my wife, mother, and my nephew then aged 3 he is now 41. Eaglemont village is a step back in time a place that conjures visions of a bygone era. The locals are protective of it and visitors are enthralled by the buildings and customer service.
I have been connected to the village when I bought my house at 17, my age is slightly more these days. We as a family have attended every Traders festival. I have been associated with the Saturday sausage sizzle outside the butchers shop for ever.

The sausage sizzle performs a great community bonding as well as raising money for our selected charity. It brings people to the village enables conversations as well as introductions , a Saturday
ritual over generations. This humble happening typifies the village, we gather we talk we decide we support both each other and the village. ‘
